Q: What should I wear on Sunday?
A: Whatever you want to wear. Our only dress code is: wear something. Jeans, T-shirts, hoodies, shorts, flip-flops, tennis shoes, are all commonly found at CityEdge.

Q: Do I need to bring a Bible on Sunday morning?
A: Nope. We are assuming you don’t have one (or at least one that you can understand). Free Bibles will be provided each week for you to use and/or take home to keep. If you already have a Bible that you really like, feel free to bring it.

Q: What should I expect when I come?
A: Everyone is welcome at CityEdge, so you’ll find all sorts of different people here. We’re an inclusive group of artists, professionals, and families in various stages of being changed by God’s love. We put relationship over religion and work hard to make our services inclusive and understandable. Our message is relevant and our band rocks.

Q: Do you have an church office?
A: No, we work out of local coffee shops and our homes. Contact us and we would love to meet you for coffee at one of our “offices.”

Q: Are you starting a whole new religion (belief system), or just a new local church?
A: CityEdge Christian Church is definitely not a new religion or belief system. We are a non-denominational Christian Church that throws out all of the artificial religious junk and just tries our best to follow Jesus. This type of church (a Restoration church) came from a spiritual revival that began a couple hundred years ago, when some people said, “Hey – following Jesus is simpler than a lot of churches are making it out to be. Let’s see what the Bible says about life and faith and do our best to follow it.” There are many non-denominational “Independent Christian Churches” that believe the same stuff that we do throughout the U.S. and the world. In fact, according to the New York Times (September 18, 2002), these “Christian Churches” were the fastest growing Christian group in America from 1990-2000. There just aren’t many in the Cleveland area.

Q: Who are you accountable to?  Do you have outside partners?
A: Yes, we do have outside partners and a management team function as our temporary overseers. They are experienced ministers who are highly invested in the mission and integrity of CityEdge.
